We walked the promenade many times. Nice views, plenty of people enjoying themselves. Several places to stop for a drink. Probably one of the best parts of the town. My biggest shock and disappointment was the amount of graffiti which really lowered the tone of the place. Why do the authorities not put a stop to this, and clean it up? It is such a shame.

Works have finished by now, and the coastline has been upgraded. The promenade goes on for miles, extending out to the Amathus ruins. There is much greenery on the way, statues and sculptures, play grounds, fountains, with several cafes through the way. There are plenty of spots to sit and watch the world go by. It has become everyone’s favorite spot. I guess besides the Castle in Limassol, one or two museums and the ruins of Amathus, there is nothing much to see in the city centre.

The whole coastline of Limassol has been upgraded To the point where i can honestly say that it is the best in the Meditteranean. It begins from the promenade and continues for miles out to the ancient ruins of Amathusia (where most of the hotels are). The promenade is an oasis of greenery, fountains, statues from local artists, play areas for children, cafe and of course, the promenade right on the sea. This is where the locals escape the heat in summer in the evening with outdoor bbq grilling corn on the cob or just sit and relax on the stones lapping the sea which looks out onto the harbour with ships anchored out at sea.IF you are in town or down on the beach, do visit this area.

Molos (as the local call it) has recently undergone renovation and several new decks going out over the water have been built. It is right by the center of town and the castle area and the new marina. As cars are not allowed, it's a safe place to let the kids run or ride their bikes. It is also a great place to sit and just look at the sea. Sadly the playgrounds (there are 2 of them) are in a sorry state. When the renovations were done, the old broken playground equipment was put back in place. And dispite efforts to clean it up, graffiti 'artists' (read vandals) have left their mark on many of the small sheds/ electrical boxes along here. Still it is a very nice place to take a walk or jog or sit and relax in the cafe (so far only one of 3 has opened).

Safe from cars, you can go there with children for a walk next to the beach. The children can play at the playgrounds. You can also cycle using the bike lanes. Really nice atmosphere and view. There are also cafes and skateboard stage.

A considerable amount of thought has gone into this Promenade and it is a credit to the town. It is a perfect location for those long leisurely walks with plenty of seating along the way so you can sit and people watch, or just gaze over the sea across Limassol Bay. There is also plenty of venues along the way where you can linger for a coffee or something stronger! A save haven for the children to wander along in front of you. This a a really smart, well used Promenade and just the ticket whether you are a tourist or a local resident.

This promenade is the longest I've ever seen. According to our guide you can walk for 18km!! We didn't do that but it is accessible, has plenty of places to sit and watch the world go by or just enjoy the atmosphere.

Lovely promenade to either take a leisurely stroll or take morning ex recipe. Could walk all the way into Limassol if you wished which is approximately 7 Kms away from the hotel

We walked the promenade after a day out in Paphos. The promenade is nice and it seems like they are doing a lot of work on it to make it even better. A lot of the piers and places that overlook the water are being worked on. There are several playgrounds for the kids as well which is nice. Overall you can easily spend at least an hour walking down the promenade.

There has been a lot of work done on the promenade and some areas still being worked on but it was a wonderful walk along the waterfront. Lovely!

I am very proud of my hometown and it's beach promenade walk...what a great asset to the town. This is a beautiful path along the long coastline of Limassol that all visitors should take a stroll on. You can really walk for a long time along the shore, or simply stretch your legs after a meal at one of the many seaside cafes and restaurants. 10 out of 10 and a really beautiful way to enjoy nature.

Having just visited Barcelona, I was pleasantly surprised how more beautiful the Limassol water front is. That is thanks to the current Mayor's recent refurbishment. Paved paths, superb landscaping, cafes and other conveniences, public artworks and water fountains. Congratulations Limassol!

The promenade in Limassol is probably the best seaside promenade in Cyprus. The sea view is beautiful, the statue park along the promenade is interesting. There are a lot of benches to sit and enjoy the view. At the moment some constructions works are being carried out here and there but you will find a place for contemplation:)

We visited in late December. Great fun watching all the families with children - new presents of bikes and roller skates. The park-like walk is about a mile long, with a cycle track, sculptures and several cafes. Very relaxing.
